Since than dance became the part of the men and the trade mark of some communities, nations and even civilizations. Our mission is to continue with the promotion of the dance culture that caries the universal message of human unity and love. Croatian Sport Dance Club Romantik
Croatian Sport Dance Club Romantik is founded in October 2001. as the first sport dance club in Mostar and Hercegovina. Since the beginning the club worked on the creating of the first sport dance pairs in ball room dancing ( Latin and Standard dances). Today in the club we have twenty sport dance pairs. For their development the key role was the dance school that every year visit more than hundred students and pupils from the schools of our city. Besides the Latin and Standard dances we also dance modern dances (show dance, Latin show, break dance, hip hop, boogie.), as well as the dance workshop for small children. In the different dance groups in the club ever year dance more than 200 children and youth. The club was honored with the special reword from the City of Mostar for the development of the sport and culture in our city in 2002. We have regular group and private dance courses for adults.
Since the foundation the club organized several ballroom and modern dance tournaments and shows and tired to popularize dance and found new clubs. We achieved a lot of good results on the tournament and the biggest is the 5th place on the World jazz dance Championship in Canada in 2002. Our club is one of the founders of the Sport dance Association of Herceg-Bosna and member of the Sport dance Association of Bosnia and Herzegovina .
Every year club organize the international tournament in ballroom dances under the name “Hercegovina Kup” , than the tournament in modern dances and our annual dance show presentation in Croatian Dom Herceg Stjepan Kosača in Mostar that is one of the most visited manifestation in our city with international participation. In the last coupole years the club started new project “Mostarski bal” (Mostar Ball)
In the club as the dance teacher already several years works Mr. Dejan Brkić ( IDTA dance teacher). The first assistant is Ivana Marić (B class in LA and ST), dance school leader, Draženko Primorac – dance schools leader and Davor Marević and Boris Zovko (break dance, hip-hop i boogie). The club has cooperation with Mr. Ismet Čamdžić from Zagreb, one of the best Croatian standard teachers and Mr. Zvonimir Mimica, dance teacher from Split .
